Bangladesh CID

The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) is a special branch of the Bangladesh Police. It investigates terrorism, murder, and organized crime. It also provides forensic assistance. Malibagh is headquartered in Dhaka. It runs a training center called Detective Training School (Detective Training School). The staff of this branch perform their duties in plain clothes. The police system of British India underwent major changes after section 5 of 181. Proposals began to come at regular intervals to open a police intelligence branch. In 1902-03, the Commissioner of Police recommended setting up of Criminal Investigation Department for each province. His recommendation is seriously considered. The commission recommends setting up a Criminal Investigation Department (CID) for each province under a deputy police inspector. It is overseen by the Railway Police and the Finger Print Bureau. Specialized cases have to be handed over to CID. Finally, on 21 March 1905, the Government of India accepted the Commission's proposal and in 1908 CID was established in each province. The first CID in Bengal was conducted by CWC on 1 April 1908.

Age limit	Candidates for all the posts are below 30 years of age on 2nd December 2021. However, the maximum age limit for children and disabled persons of Bir Muktijoddha / Shaheed Bir Muktijoddha is 32 years.

Application fee:	The application fee for the post of Computer Operator and Data Entry Operator is 100 Taka and for the post of Office Assistant is 50 Taka.
